just had a tooth extraction, a bone graft and a membrane with stitches now my mouth is starting to hurt.

Excederine or Advil Dual work very well for pain. Sorry you're hurting

thanks I was told ibuprofen so I am using that an ice packs.

The Advil I mentioned is ibuprofen and tylenol. They work on different pain receptors so a little better relief

I will try what you recommended. It was rush to get out of the dentist office. I have gone to this dentist for a long time but he does not seem to have enough time to give instructions to his patients.
